Types of Client

Cornerstone performs commercial due diligence for large and medium sized corporations, private equity groups, and investors to assess target companies either prior to making an offer or during the due diligence period. We also have worked with firms to sell businesses.

Types of Engagements

Prior to close, we advise on the following:
 Assess the market dynamics for a company's products
 Identify areas of weakness, opportunity and cost saving
 Assess quality and ability of management
 Determine strategic fit, synergy and integration issues
 Evaluate robustness of financial projections
 Negotiation strategy

Post close, we advise or take temporary management positions as a transition team to execute the following, typically within 90 days of close:
 Implement immediate cost savings
 Start process of changing management
 Embark on integration (if necessary)
 Close down/sell unprofitable business lines
